Coronavirus Update from Griffin Plumbing

What We Are Doing

As the world health community continues to closely monitor the “Coronavirus Disease 2019” (COVID-19), Griffin Plumbing is taking proactive steps to address a number of concerns. We have always prided ourselves on providing a clean, safe work environment, and are taking additional measures to ensure the health and wellness of both our employees and loyal customers.

All Griffin Plumbing employees have been instructed to:
  • Stay home if sick
  • Wash hands frequently with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds
  • Cover mouth with tissues when sneezing or coughing, and discard used tissues in the trash
  • Avoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces
Expect your next home visit to involve the following extra safety measures from our Technicians:
  • Hand sanitizer application required before entering a client’s home
  • No handshakes
  • Keep social distancing space
  • Must wash hands at the start of the appointment using a Griffin supplied kit
  • Wear protective, medical-grade gloves
  • Wear Floor Savers on shoes
  • Ask the client’s permission to disinfect all surfaces from hand washing
  • After a job is complete, ask the client’s permission again to disinfect all work areas
  • Throw away protective gloves in Griffin supplied trash bag
  • Wash hands again and dispose of any paper towels in trash bag
  • Exit home with trash bag
  • Apply hand sanitizer once back at the Griffin work truck
When you choose Griffin Plumbing, know we are taking every precaution to ensure your safety during this time.
